Spain: public works contracts above 5.38 M€ require the advanced BIM level
Plan BIM en la contratación pública (Acuerdo del Consejo de Ministros, BOE-A-2023-16784)
From 1 October 2027 contracting authorities of the central administration request the advanced BIM level for contracts with an estimated value of 5,382,000 € or more, and the medium level from 2,000,000 €. The plan steps up again in April 2030.
