Türkiye: PDF/A duty for 2D permit documents extends to all buildings
Mimarlık ve Mühendislik Projelerinin Dijital Olarak Hazırlanması Hakkında Yönetmelik (Resmî Gazete 33331, 5 Ağustos 2026)
Madde 4(2)–(3), which require 2D drawings and documents in PDF/A, are deferred to 1 March 2029 for every building except those over 5,000 m² in the largest municipalities, where the duty follows the general entry into force. Scanned PDFs are not PDF/A.

The PDF/A paragraphs are deferred to 1 March 2029 for buildings other than those over 5,000 m² in municipalities above 600,000 residents within provinces above 2,000,000.
