EU: building automation and control systems in non-residential buildings above 70 kW
Directive (EU) 2024/1275 (EPBD recast), art. 13
The recast EPBD requires building automation and control systems in non-residential buildings with heating, cooling or ventilation systems above 70 kW by the end of 2029. France aligned its own BACS decree to this date.

Non-residential buildings with heating, air-conditioning or combined systems over 70 kW must have building automation and control systems by 31 December 2029.
by 31 December 2029, non-residential buildings with an effective rated output for heating systems, air-conditioning systems, systems for combined space heating and ventilation, or systems for combined air conditioning and ventilation of over 70 kW.Article 13(10), point (b)
